 My family (mom, niece and nephew pictured) visits and we pig out at The Harbor Restaurant on CITY ISLAND- just a short cab ride from my home in Parkchester.  City Island is a little-known-about gem in The Bronx that offers great seafood in a New England-type setting.  Many Bronxites take advantage of the wonderful bike trails through lush (and unexpected) woodland to get to the island.
