I’ve already posted about Zagat-rated Willie’s Steakhouse on Westchester Avenue (just outside the Parkchester Condo Complex) and I have to tell you about another place just across the street - the delightful Joe’s Place - a true Bronx treasure that regular Joe’s (sorry!) as well as celebrities and local politicians continue to patronize for it’s authentic Caribbean flavored cuisuine, unbelievably friendly staff, homey decor and camraderie of fellow diners.  A separate bar adjoins the restaurant where the lovely Eva tends bar.   This is the type of place where the owner is as famous as his food - doesn’t he look like he’s got more than a few great stories to share!
